Students will learn at least 2 songs per session and collaborate with others in a band setting. Parents are asked to actively encourage consistent practice at home.\n<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin: 40px 0 20px; font-size: 1.8rem;\">A Timeless Tradition<\/h3>\n<p style=\"max-width: 800px; margin: 0 auto 60px; line-height: 1.8;\">\nThroughout history, communities across all cultures have gathered to make music and dance together. From the social dances of Western Swing during the Bob Wills Era, the Big Band Swing Era, the social dances of the Chickasaw and other Native American tribes, to barn dances, and the respectable 1950s dance halls, these shared experiences strengthened social bonds, taught grace and etiquette, and provided healthy outlets for energy and creativity. We believe reviving this tradition for today\u2019s youth is deeply important.\n<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin: 40px 0 20px; font-size: 1.8rem;\">Community Support Needed<\/h3>\n<p style=\"max-width: 800px; margin: 0 auto;\">\nAs we launch this new program in Midland, we are currently seeking a suitable practice space.
