At Splendid Formation, we are dedicated to creating vibrant cultural and educational experiences that foster community engagement and personal growth. We collaborate with local experts to provide enriching activities tailored to the interests and needs of young people and their families.
Our Programs:
Inclusive Community Engagement
Our activities are designed to cater to a broad age range, primarily middle school, high school and college-aged students (15-24 years old) and their families. We welcome siblings of all ages and parents with young children, ensuring that our events are family-friendly and inclusive.
Game Night
Join us for an epic evening of friendly competition! We’ve got a whole arsenal of games-chess, mancala, checkers, Jenga, “I Dissent”, “Throw Throw Burrito”, and many more! Whether you’re a grandmaster or a burrito-throwing champion, there's a game (or five) for everyone. Entry is just $5, which includes water, and we’ve got sodas and snacks available for purchase to keep you fueled up. Bring your friends, your family, or just yourself, and let the games begin!
Music and Dance Enrichment
The swing music genre is central to our music enrichment program. Participants who are independently learning to play various instruments and practicing at home, as well, are invited to join the Higher Grounds Youth Band Club. These activities not only foster musical skills but also promote social interaction and teamwork among youth.
Dance Practice includes vintage jazz, Electro Swing & Couples Swing Dance. We will have a party event at the beginning of Winter Break.
Educational Series Following Classical Model
Our programs extend into dual-credit enrollment and undergraduate college credit through Christianhalls.org We tutor college courses for the Permian Basin Hall.
